SEO, answered
A phone search is where many home service jobs start, and “plumber north charleston” draws about 260 searches a month. Lithium Marketing builds the pages and the Google Business Profile that answer searches like that, then reports what the calls were worth. A roofer, a pest company and a remodeler get the same work in their own trade words.
The results page rewards a business that looks complete. When we checked “plumber north charleston”, the Map Pack sat above the organic results, and the Better Business Bureau, Facebook and Yelp held places in the top 10. That means the profile, the reviews and the website all get read before a customer taps the call button, and they have to agree on your name, number and services.
Search in North Charleston
Trade volume sets the order of the work. Pest control searches in North Charleston run about 140 a month and landscaping about 50, while a roofing search draws about 30. A pest company can justify a page for each treatment it sells; a roofer may do better with one strong page for the work it wants and a profile that proves the finished jobs.
Charleston County has 151 plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors and 93 electrical contractors, and each one has a listing a customer can compare. The page that earns the call answers the specific search: the repair, the property type and the part of the city, in the first screen a customer sees.

The North Charleston market
The median North Charleston home was built in 1996, and 32% of North Charleston's homes went up before 1980. The older houses need repair and replacement pages, and the rest of the stock needs maintenance and upgrade pages of its own. A contractor who sells both needs both sets of pages, each with its own photos.
North Charleston is a principal city within the Charleston-North Charleston, SC Metropolitan Statistical Area. Charleston County's population is 436,200, and not all of those addresses sit inside the city line. Customers beyond the city limits can still search the same trades, so the service-area pages should name the places where you take jobs, and the profile should list the same areas.

Trades in Charleston County
Charleston County has 181 new home builders, 60 painting contractors and 14 glass and glazing contractors. A builder sells a project that takes months, so the pages should carry finished work, a process a buyer can follow and a quote step that collects the right details.
The repair trades need a different page order. For roofing, the page should lead with the repair, the service area and a phone number, with the gallery close behind. A glass and glazing company's pages can carry the product detail and the named contact a commercial buyer asks for.

The SEO plan
The technical work comes first, then the pages and the profile, then the links that help them move.
We remove the errors, the slow templates and the broken links that keep a page from being indexed, and we check the fix in Search Console.
Categories, services, hours and service areas get set once and copied everywhere, and finished customers get an easy way to leave a review.
Each service gets its own page, and the areas you cover get pages that name the neighborhoods, rivers and neighboring towns a customer would recognize.
Your business name, phone number and service list read the same on the site, the profile and every directory a customer checks, and new links go to the pages that already earn calls.
What every SEO retainer includes
The same eight parts go into every SEO retainer, wherever the business is.
A documented multi-channel project
Lithium built Byers Septic Service a new website and ran SEO and Google Ads for the company, and the traffic, keyword and conversion figures on the card come from that work. Daniel Busby of Willard Power Vac, an air duct, dryer vent and chimney cleaning company, gives his own account next to it.

The range covers the monthly work: technical fixes, new pages, the Google Business Profile, listings, review support and links, with a report at the end. A bigger site, more trades or a wider service area add pages and profile work, which is what moves the number toward the top of the range. The scope and price are agreed in writing before the first month.
The technical work is the first thing to show, and 30 days is a fair checkpoint for it. Rankings for local and long-tail searches usually need 60 to 90 days, and revenue comes after those rankings, not before. We report calls from day one, so the trend is visible before the revenue line moves.
The first term is six months, then it runs month to month with 30 days' notice. Six months up front gives the pages and profile time to build; after that, the retainer continues only while it is producing calls worth the fee.
What Lithium guarantees is the work, not a position. Google decides the order of the Map Pack and the organic results, so no agency can name a spot in advance. Lithium builds the profile, the service pages, the listings and the links, then reports where you moved and which calls came with the movement.
AI search readiness is part of the retainer. The site gets direct answers near the top of each service page, schema that names the business and its services, and one set of facts that does not change from page to page. That makes the company easier to quote in an AI answer, though no one can promise a mention, so the report stays on calls and leads.
