Web design in Surprise

A website for a Surprise service business that makes calling the easy part of the visit.

Surprise's median home was built in 2005, so a website here should show recent work on recent houses in captioned photos, on a site you own.

Web design in Surprise

A website built for how Surprise customers hire

Lithium Marketing designs and builds WordPress websites for Surprise service businesses, and the work starts on a phone screen. Most visitors arrive from a search, often in a hurry, and the first screen tells them whether your business looks like the one that will show up.

The city's housing tells you what to photograph. With 21.9% of Surprise's housing built in 2010 or later, the finished jobs worth showing are newer kitchens, replaced roofs and fresh landscaping, not century-home restorations.

The Surprise market

Who owns the home, and why it changes the page

79.1% of Surprise's occupied homes are owner-occupied. That owner is the one who approves the quote, so the site should speak to the decision-maker directly: what the work costs, what the timeline looks like and who will be at the door.

The median home value in Surprise is $435,100. For work on a house at that level, a stock photo and a generic paragraph do not say much, so the job photos and the full service list carry the page. Sun City Grand, the 45+ community in the city, deserves its own page from any business that takes work there. Set the type on that page so a reader can see it without pinching the screen.

Trades in Maricopa County

What the county's trades need from a website

Maricopa County counts 1,406 residential remodelers and 588 new home builders, two trades whose customers want to see the work before they call. A gallery that opens on a finished kitchen and names the city beats a slideshow of toolboxes.

The trades that get called in a hurry work the other way. Maricopa County has 369 pest control companies, and a homeowner with ants does not read a company history: the phone number, the hours and the service area belong at the top of the page.

The build

From your job photos to launch day

You see the page plan before design starts, and the site goes live only after every form and call link has been tested.

1

Start from the finished jobs

Photos of finished work, the full service list and the ground you cover all come from you. The copy gets written from those, plus one conversation about how you quote a job.

2

Draw the small screen first

The phone layout gets drawn before the desktop one. Your review covers both, and the call button, the form and the best photos sit where a thumb lands.

3

Build, test, then connect the tracking

The build runs on WordPress with speed targets set before the first template. Forms, phone links, GA4 and call tracking get tested on a real phone, not a desktop browser.

4

Launch, redirect, hand over

Every old address with traffic or links gets a redirect to its replacement. Then a private Loom walkthrough shows you how to change a photo or a paragraph without calling us.

A three-service case

What a fence company bought, and what came back

F&W Fence Co. is the client on the card, and its numbers come from a website Lithium built, plus the SEO and Google Ads it ran. Kevin Atiyeh, who runs Atiyeh Bros, the carpet and rug company, is quoted beside it.

Larger sites get a fixed proposal after a 30-minute discovery call. Six to nine weeks from kickoff to launch. You own the domain, hosting account, WordPress install and content.

What to settle before a new site goes up

Still curious?

Call (503) 766-5964 or email [email protected].

What makes a website cost more than the typical build?

More pages, more project photos and copy for several services. About 90% of the websites Lithium builds land at the typical project price, and the ones that go beyond it get a fixed proposal before any work starts.

Who owns the site when the project ends?

You do, and the domain comes with it. The WordPress install, the hosting account and the content are set up under your business, not held by Lithium, so nothing is lost if the working relationship ends.

Can my rankings drop when the new site launches?

Expect some movement while Google picks up the new pages. The protection is a redirect from every old address that carries traffic or links, plus a Search Console check after launch. Nobody can promise the same positions, and a planned move is the only real defense.

Can my own team edit the site after launch?

The site is WordPress, which means a new paragraph or a better photo does not need a developer. Your team gets a Loom walkthrough of the parts they will touch, and the optional $99 a month plan covers hosting, daily backups, software and security updates, and basic changes if nobody on your team wants the job.

What do we hand over to get started?

Three things: a folder of job photos, the services you want to sell more of, and one person who can sign off on copy. Everything else, including the writing, is ours to do, and nothing publishes without your review.
