Springfield PPC, answered
A garage door click in Springfield averages $51.36, the highest cost in the trade table below. At that price, Lithium Marketing starts a Google Ads account with conversion tracking, so every call and form can be traced to the keyword that paid for it. Without that link, the budget is spent on guesses.
In Springfield, roofing clicks average $43.66 and pest control $23.83, while landscaping sits at $3.77. The spread decides how a business should start: a landscaper can test a small budget, and a garage door or roofing company needs a landing page that converts before spend grows.
Click costs in Springfield
“Electrician springfield ma” draws 70 searches a month at an average click cost of $18.12. A smaller, cheaper search like that is where a first campaign can learn quickly, because each call costs less to earn than a garage door or roofing click.
When we checked the results page for “plumber springfield ma”, no paid ads ran and the Map Pack sat at the top. Ad positions move with the hour and the budget, which is why a campaign works best next to a profile that already earns the call.

The Springfield market
Springfield has four distinct seasons, and snowfall averages 40.5 inches, most of it between mid-December and early March. If your calls follow the weather, the budget should be ready for the cold months and thinner in the weeks when outdoor work slows.
Of the homes in Hampden County, 76.3% went up before 1980. Older houses need repair and replacement work, which is the kind of job paid search can win while an organic page builds.

Trades in Hampden County
Roofing is the smaller field, at 29 contractors in Hampden County, against 217 landscaping companies. They cannot run the same budget plan, because one click costs $43.66 in roofing and $3.77 in landscaping, and the same monthly budget buys very different numbers of them.
Pest control shows the other side of the same math: 11 companies in Hampden County, 320 searches a month for “pest control springfield ma”, and $23.83 a click. That is a lot of searching for a short list of companies.

Your first month
The account gets measured before it gets more money, and the campaigns follow what your crews can take.
We go through the current campaigns, keep the ones that bring calls and write down the search terms that waste money.
Each call and form gets the keyword, the ad and the campaign behind it, fed into GA4 and the call tracker.
A separate campaign, ad group and landing page for each service you want more of, so the budget follows the work.
Bids, search terms and wasted spend get checked daily through the first 30 days, then weekly, on a rhythm that fits how your crews book work.
What every Google Ads account includes

A Portland glass company’s three-service result
Town & Country Glass hired Lithium for three pieces of work: a new website, SEO and Google Ads. The company is a commercial glass business in Portland, and the numbers on the card come from all three. Hillsview Building’s Nathan Boos is quoted beside the case.

“A lot of options out there for websites and SEO. I’ve worked with this team for years now and would highly recommend them. They know their stuff and deliver results. More importantly to me- they care about service and follow through on what they say they will do. Easy to work with and communicate with. Thank you!”

FAQ
Still curious?
Call (503) 766-5964 or email [email protected].
Start with what one booked job is worth to you, then work backward. Your trade’s click cost and the landing page’s conversion rate decide how many calls a given budget buys. We set the first number together and revisit it when the tracking has real costs.
The first calls usually arrive in week one, assuming tracking is live before launch. From there the work is subtraction: drop the search terms that never ring, and put the money behind the ones that do.
The first term is six months, then it runs month to month and 30 days’ notice ends it. Before anything launches you get the management fee in writing, and that number depends on how much you spend on ads and how much extra work the account needs.
Only when the numbers ask for it. Google comes first for most trades, and Microsoft Ads or Meta ads on Facebook and Instagram get added when your buyers already spend time there. The tracking decides, not a package.
The monthly report sorts calls, leads and cost per lead by campaign, and each call or form carries the keyword and ad it came from. When your team marks the leads that turned into booked jobs, the account gets judged on those, not on clicks.
